We have reached that glorious time of year for every student and teacher – the end of the school year! For students it’s a little fraught, of course, because they have to climb over that mountain of finals before reaching the sunny shore of summer. Stanford students, you are almost there! You just need to crank through finals week and then – bliss. To cheer you on your way, I put together a mini album for you, including a couple of photos at the end to give you a giggle.
To start us off strong, here is Miss Gigi – that sweetest little lady – tacked up and just about ready to go at the Stanford Red Barn. See her front leg picked up? It’s to encourage me to give her a treat (works every time).

And now onto some flower pictures! Here is a bouquet from our stunning California coast for you all:

This next one is a Where’s Waldo challenge – except you’re looking for a hummingbird – find it?

And now we’re onto the humor section. This first one comes courtesy of a friend of ours, who discovered this visitor to her chicken coop. I love the hen’s posture – “What the heck are you doing here?”

Last, but certainly not least, this next one is a repeat because without fail it puts a smile on my face. For all you graduating students struggling with life choices, here’s an easy one for you…

Happy summer everyone!
